About Snuggle Me Organic: Founded by Mia Carr, her mission from the very first days of Snuggle Me was to create minimal, modern baby products that your babies would adore. Their growth has been unusually rapid. They began in a small town in Minnesota. Mia was a stay-at-home mom of a toddler and twin newborns. With her husband was working 6 days a week, she recalls telling my mother-in-law that she needed help. What did she need? She simply needed someone to come in and HOLD a baby for me. Nothing else. Just hold them. She needed to relieve her guilt and give herself support. I needed a few moments to take a shower, make dinner, or even better, EAT dinner. The idea of a baby lounger that could be moved around the house and imitated the feeling of arms came to mind.

She made 12 little loungers on a borrowed sewing machine one evening. Her little kiddos running around her feet in their jammies. The next day they loaded those loungers up along with a homemade sign and a demo doll and set off to a local craft fair. She remembers their very first customer. It was her eyes she remembers most, and her sweet little baby. It was then that she fell in love with helping mothers and their families. She sold all 12 of those loungers that day and  would never be the same. She had a clear vision and purpose for life.

In 2015 she decided to turn this part time “hobby” into a serious business. It was that or she needed to quit Snuggle Me and find a paying job. It was a “go big or go home” moment. We then signed up for an Instagram account, and boy were things about to get interesting from there. Succeeding there with Snuggle Me became her duty. They began to grow. In fact, they grew so fast it was overwhelming. Dear friends and family came on board to help with shipping and the growth. Truly, the excitement was unbelievable. They hit 1 million followers within 2 years of Mia directly taking over that platform and they just kept on growing. Instagram has been a place of healing and personal growth. The community there has been her extended family. And you can still find her there, just a DM away. That accessibility has made Snuggle Me a unique, personal brand. I’m determined to keep it this way as I will forever be grateful to that platform, that journey and to those very important and special followers. They believed and supported me and my family in a way I could never repay.

They began with a darling little lounger, one that helped solve her own problems of caring for children alone at home. As she thinks about what’s next for Snuggle Me, what comes to her are the words expand and connect. She wants her products to provide value to even more families around the world. She wants to give back as much as she can to her customers and followers through their parenting journey. And mostly, She wants Snuggle Me to be a beloved household name.
