This Bath brush is made of soft horse hair with an oak wood handle. Horse hair is an excellent material in bathing brushes because it is soft + pliable while holding its shape.

After Use: Rinse the brush in clean lukewarm water and allow to hang dry, or stand on the bristle so that the water is transported away from the wood. 

Care: You can treat the wood handle with a food grade oil from time to time. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again. Make sure to avoid the bristles when treating the handle.
