Lemon Basil Spritz

Delina from Boxhorn Farm was kind enough to share their ‘Lemon Basil Spritz’ mocktail with us!

Delina made this for the ‘Celebrating Fresh’ workshop + it was loved by all!

Boxhorn Farm will be at the Swift Current farmers market this year, all summer long with edible flowers, fresh herbs, microgreens + shoots and more from their market garden + greenhouses.

You’ll need

  • 1.5-1.75 ounces of freshly squeezed lemon juice 
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • Edible flowers 
  • A can of club soda 
  • Ice
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Cocktail glass


(yields one drink) 

  1. In a cocktail shaker add basil leaves and crush/ muddle 
  2. Add in lemon juice and muddle further 
  3. Add in ice and shake thoroughly (for a min+)
  4. Add fresh ice to cocktail glass
  5. Strain lemon basil mixture with cocktail shaker and pour over basil lemon mixture 
  6. Top with club soda (1 can, makes 2 drinks) and finish with edible flowers
